Warren Ellis

Warren grew up playing hockey throughout his youth in Southern California.  He first played at the Aliso Viejo Ice Palace before transitioning to the Beach City Lightning Tier II Program. After high school, Warren played ACHA at Arizona State University helping his team to the 2004-2004 ACHA National Championship tournament. Throughout his University time, Warren was involved in youth hockey in the greater Phoenix area, returning summers to coach at the Aliso Viejo Ice Palace.   In 2014, Warren became a full time hockey coach, leading the youth hockey program at Aliso Viejo and Lake Forest Ice Palace, while assisting the JR Coyotes tournament team. In 2018 Warren accepted a position with the California Goldrush Hockey Club while maintaining his leadership role at Aliso Viejo. In addition to coaching the U8A California Goldrush and assisting the 10UA California Goldrush,  Warren led the 2019-2020 Aliso Viejo 10U and 12U tournament teams.

Warren's coaching philosophy is Intensity, Consistency and Execution, while still maintaining a fun atmosphere for the youth hockey players of Southern California.

Warren has one daughter and loves being able to coach the kids in his community.
